The Semi-Custom Collection features 9 signature suites, which can be personalized with your choice of paper type & colour, print method, envelope colour and calligraphy style - telling your love story in a way that is uniquely yours. Within a few days, you will receive your customized proposal providing detailed pricing for your Semi-Custom suite. Once your proposal is approved, you can sign the contract and submit your deposit to confirm your booking and get started!

The Design Phase begins with your first Design Draft featuring your unique paper, colour, and embellishment selections. Your order includes 3 rounds of digital revisions to fine tune your suite until it's exactly the way you envisioned for your big day.

When your suite is perfect and you have approved your designs for print, we will begin the production process right away! The complete production process takes approximately 4-6 weeks depending on the items included with your suite.

Choose from an array of Embellishments to personalize your suite even further (select quantity required based on invitation quantity and add to cart). Luxury finishing details like calligraphy envelope addressing, wax seals, fine twine, silk ribbon & vellum wraps add an heirloom feel to your fine art invitations, and are a great way to further incorporate your wedding colours and sentimental details.

Not sure which embellishments you’d like? No problem! You will have an opportunity during our design phase to request recommendations for colour palette & embellishments.

Once you have curated your dream stationery package, it's time to place your order! In 1-3 business days after your order is placed, we will be in touch with your Client Portal login details. Then, the fun begins! In your personalized Client Portal, you will find your design questionnaire where you will make all of your selections (where applicable) including paper colour, envelope colours, envelope addressing style, and wording. Coordinating ink colours will be recommended based off of your selections, and can be modified during the revision phase. If you would like a specific ink colour, please note this in the comments section on your Design Questionnaire. Review our Collection Guide for complete information on your available selections!

Within 5-7 business days of completing your design questionnaire, your portal will be updated with your Design Proposal including photo-realistic digital mock-ups of your invitations & embellishments. One round of digital revisions (including guest address changes) is included at no extra cost; each additional round of digital revisions will incur a fee of $125.00. Included in your portal will also be instructions & a detailed spreadsheet for providing guest addresses.

Once your final design proof has been approved, your contract will be added to your Client Portal for your final signature of approval. After you’ve signed the contract, your invitation suite is sent off to print! Yay! We are proud to work with extremely detail oriented Canadian printers local to the Ottawa and surrounding area; they take the utmost care of each and every suite to ensure only the highest quality and consistency.

Please note that expected delivery dates are subject to how quickly we move through the design process. Regardless of the design and printing method selected, it takes a minimum of 2-3 weeks to print and produce an invitation suite.

Letterland Studio offers assembly and mailing services for all couples. If you choose to add this service (see our Embellishments page to learn more), we will assemble, stuff and seal all invitation suites for you. Quotations for curated postage may be presented on request during the design phase for couples who purchase our complete mailing service (please note that assembly & mailing services are priced separately as individual listings).

If you would like to assemble yourself, we will send all items needed to assemble your invitation suites in one big box; detailed information on how to stamp & mail your invitations will be uploaded to your Client Portal. Please note the industry standard is to mail an invitation suite out 6 – 8 weeks before the wedding day.
